Cancellation Terms
orientas.digital | As of: March 2026
ℹ️ Note: Under Swiss contract law (Code of Obligations), no statutory right of withdrawal exists for digital subscriptions. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
1. Cancellation via the Customer or Freemium Portal
Cancellation is handled exclusively through the portal:
- Log in to your customer or freemium account.
- Uncheck the «Renew account» checkbox.
This constitutes a valid cancellation effective at the end of the current contract period, provided the new period has not yet begun. No further steps are required – no written notice is necessary.
2. Questions About Cancellation
If you have any questions or experience technical issues with the cancellation process, please contact us at office@orientas.digital.
3. Trial Option with Monthly Subscription
We recommend new users start with a flexible monthly subscription. This allows you to try the service without commitment and switch to a longer-term plan with a price advantage at any time.
4. Important Notes
- No refunds: Amounts already paid for ongoing periods are generally non-refundable, except in cases of serious service failures on the part of the Provider.
- Access until end of period: Your access remains fully active until the end of the already paid period.
- Automatic deactivation: After the period expires, your access is automatically deactivated. A separate notification will be sent by email.
- No reversal: Digital services cannot be «returned».
- Data deletion: After contract termination, your data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and then deleted. Early deletion can be requested via the portal.
5. Notice Periods
- Monthly subscription: Cancellation possible at any time, at the latest 1 day before the end of the current contract period.
- Annual / two-year subscription: Cancellation possible at any time, at the latest 1 day before the end of the current contract period.
6. Termination by the Provider
The Provider is entitled to immediately terminate the contract and suspend access if users breach these Terms and Conditions – in particular section 1 (eligibility) or section 3 (profile picture). In such cases, no refund of amounts already paid will be due.
7. Legal Notice
These terms are governed by Swiss law (Code of Obligations). No statutory right of withdrawal exists for digital services under Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Koppigen, Switzerland.
